Response to "Carto city"
I thought it was interesting how the whole urban mapping they were talking about was addressed from ancient to contemporary. Also, the way they discussed how different countries or nations tried their own ways of mapping from cartographic ways to landscaping or even based on society. However, I felt that there was too much information presented in such a little passage which after a while had my mind wondering what was going on. Next, I like how they compared such modern mapping to the form of Mapquest to the mappings of greats cities and how they either were already on paper or expanded to be urban. Then, I get the message of how urban mapping is a representation on the relationship between space and cartography and when one changes, it alters the relationship between them. Also, with the technologies presented now is the time to take advantage of these opportunities with space.

Response to "The Desktop"
I think it's interesting how the author talks about how malls were built in a marketing sort of sense to keep consumers buying. Next, the thought of how the desktop was established by accident is cool but these days you get use to it becuase that's how a lot of inventions happened. However, the establishment of the mac was good marketing because the way they approach it especially with the slogan and how it works, in terms of design and simpility, is why it is still so popular today. I agree with the comparison of how he talks about the desktop and communities and how it could be looked past the whole just a child's toy or video games that they referred to.

Response to "As We May Think"
The idea of combining the knowledge of different scientist to form new technology is very exciting to me. It's cool that what was just science fiction in the past is coming to life before our very eyes. The interesting thing is that i watch the military channel all the to find out the latest in technology advancement and they talk about how the engineers, scientist, and artist come up with great stuff to keep us ahead of the enemy. The micro-photography is amazing in how it could help our legal system from my point of view so that wrong convictions can not be a factor anymore.
